Part 4 of the Book of Books concludes this series with a message entitled, The Bible it All the Scripture You Need.
Part 3 of The Book of Books looks at how each one of us needs the Bible. Our need for the Bible is much more than just owning a copy, we need to read it, study it, and meditate on it. There are many things we cannot know and cannot understand apart from the Bible.
Part 2 of The Book of Books is talking about how you can understand the Bible. Sometimes people think the Bible is hard to understand and part 2 looks at some of the reasons it may be difficult, but also we will see the hope that God speaks with clarity because He loves us.
The Bible is completely and absolutely unique from all others. You read other books, but the Bible reads you. Many read the book of the month, but the Bible is the book of the ages. No other book has been so widely translated, so widely distributed, and so widely read. The Bible is a timeless book and when you look at the impact the Bible has had on many lives that should make you stop and reconsider the Bible.
The writer of Lamentations has lived through a time where God's people have been carried off into exile from rebellion and disobedience against God. The reality is God loves us so much that He disciplines us just as a Father disciplines his children. The book of Lamentations is about a person who has lived through this rebellion and God allowing His people to be carried off after refusing to listen for so long and this person longs to see God's people restored to where they were. Most think the book of Lamentations is a book of morning, but it is a book of hope.
