The Word of God

bookofbooks

The Bible is completely and absolutely unique from all others. You read other books, but the Bible reads you. Many read the book of the month, but the Bible is the book of the ages. No other book has been so widely translated, so widely distributed, and so widely read. The Bible is a timeless book and when you look at the impact the Bible has had on many lives that should make you stop and reconsider the Bible.

The Lord is Merciful & Faithful

The writer of Lamentations has lived through a time where God's people have been carried off into exile from rebellion and disobedience against God. The reality is God loves us so much that He disciplines us just as a Father disciplines his children. The book of Lamentations is about a person who has lived through this rebellion and God allowing His people to be carried off after refusing to listen for so long and this person longs to see God's people restored to where they were. Most think the book of Lamentations is a book of morning, but it is a book of hope.

The Authority of Christ

Special message from Josh Bumpus on the authority of Christ and submitting to His authority from Mark 5:1-20.

Jesus, The One & Only

When John tells us about Jesus coming to earth, he emphasizes the absolute uniqueness of Jesus. Most people see Jesus as loving, and He is, and a great teacher, and He was, but we fail to comprehend that Jesus claimed about himself. He claimed that He was the One and only way to God and demanded people make a choice to believe that and follow Him.
