Sanctuary Choir
Wednesday | 7:00 p.m.
The Sanctuary Choir sings in the worship gathering each Sunday and rehearses each Wednesday night at 7:00PM. The choir presents seasonal programs each year. There is no audition required.
Praise Team
Wednesday | 6:00 p.m.
The Praise Team leads music in the Sunday morning worship gathering with a more contemporary song repertoire. Membership is by audition only. They rehearse each Wednesday at 6:00PM.
Worship Orchestra
Tuesday | 6:00 p.m. (Sept. - May)
First Baptist Church Worship Orchestra plays each Sunday (Sept - May) in the worship gathering. The orchestra is open to all orchestral instruments (strings, woodwinds, brass, and percussion) with two or more years of playing experience. There is no audition required.
 
Youth Choir
Sunday | 5:30 p.m. (Aug.-May)
Youth Choir is for students in grades 7 through 12. We sing in worship several times a year and have traveled to nearby churches to lead worship. No audition is required.
Children's Choirs
Tuesday | After School or 3:15 p.m. (Sept.-May)

Handbells
Wednesday | 5:15 p.m. (Sept. - May)
We currently have one handbell choir. Led by Susan Heaton, the Bronze Bells play in worship several times per year. A screening interview is required as the group is limited to a finite number of ringers with moderate musical reading skills.
  
Rough Waters (Youth Worship Team)
Wednesday | 4:00 p.m.
This auditioned group meets weekly. The rhythm section-based group leads in worship during youth worship and special occasions on Sunday mornings. Instrumentation includes drums, percussion, keyboard, guitar, bass guitar, and vocals. Membership in Youth Choir is a prerequisite for membership consideration in Rough Waters.
Young at Heart Choir
2nd Tuesday | 1:00 p.m.
4th Tuesday | 10:00 a.m. (Sept. - May)
This 55+ group meets on the 2nd Tuesday at 1:00 pm following the monthly meeting of Young at Heart. We then meet on the 4th Tuesday at 10:00 am. This choir sings in worship four or five times a year. There is no audition required.
Solos and Ensembles - We encourage solo and small ensemble singing in worship. Prerequisites for soloists include active membership in either the Early Worship Team, Sanctuary Choir, Young at Heart Choir, Youth Choir, or Children's Choirs.

Wedding Music Guidelines - Music used in our church weddings needs to reflect the ultimate reason most weddings are held in a sanctuary. This is a ceremony in God's house, before Him, therefore you will need to use lyrics sacred in nature. This draws the focus away from the couple and more toward the sanctity of what is occurring between you, your future spouse, and God.
If you choose to use our Sanctuary, keep in mind its traditional architecture, fixed musical instruments (pipe organ, grand piano, and Kurzweil electronic keyboard) and acoustic properties when making your musical selections. Matching your music to these surroundings will enhance the ceremony and give it thematic support for the witnesses (God and guests).
As per the wedding policy, all music (vocal and instrumental) including any used for video backgrounds, must be approved by the Minister of Music prior to the wedding date. It is recommended that you submit your titles at least six weeks ahead of time so adjustments can be made if necessary without undue stress.
